"Christmas in our own home. It actually started the day after
Thanksgiving. My children and I started up a "family tradition"
that we will start decorating the house the day after
Thanksgiving. We had the outside of the house all lit up with
blow up Santas and the whole nine yards. They helped me rearrange the
living room, put the tree up, and decorate inside and out. We
would put little things under the tree all the way up to Santa's
Big Arrival. On Christmas Eve we each open up one gift then we
make cookies and get it all prepared for Santa and his crew. The
best gift for me as a mother was waking up Christmas morning in
our brand new home and seeing the look on my children's faces as
they saw how full our living room was. I think last Christmas
(our 1st in our home) was the BEST Christmas we have had. It
just had that "homey" feeling, a feeling that you can only
experience when you know that what you have is YOURS!!!"
