Sponsor a Home

Building decent, affordable homes and eliminating poverty housing is what Habitat is all about. If you are an individual, a church, an organization or a business that would like to donate toward the building of an upcoming home, please contact our Executive Director, Gail Olive, at (843) 916-8815.

Habitat for Humanity of Horry County is partnered with Habitat for Humanity in Guyana, South America. $65,000 sponsors the construction of TWO Habitat Homes; one in Horry County and one in Guyana! Your support will impact both the local and global community!

There are several different levels of home sponsorship:

Full House Sponsor

Sponsor contributes $65,000* for building materials and paid labor for a complete Habitat house. Sponsor will have first priority in regard to having volunteers scheduled for on-site building opportunity workdays.

Habitat for Humanity provides:

• A Partner Family & Building lot for house

• An agreed upon number of team building workdays on the construction site

• Construction site supervision

• Signage at the construction site

• Public relations and media opportunities

• Placement of the company logo and link to company website on HFH - Horry County's website for one year

• Recognition in Habitat's newsletter

• A Habitat t-shirt for each volunteer working on the construction site

• An invitation to the house blessing and dedication ceremonies

• An introduction of the partner family and Habitat's mission at reception or sponsor events

• A house sponsorship award

Raise the Roof Sponsor

Sponsor contributes $32,000 for building materials and paid labor. Sponsor may make up to 10 workers available for 15 on-site team-building workdays.

Habitat for Humanity provides:

• A Partner Family & Building lot for house

• Up to 15 team-building workdays on construction site

• Construction site supervision

• Shared signage at the construction site

• Public relations and media opportunities

• Placement of the company logo and link to company website on HFH - Horry County's website for one year

• Recognition in Habitat's newsletter

• A Habitat t-shirt for each volunteer working on teh construction site

• An invitation to the house blessing and dedication ceremonies

• A Raise the Roof sponsorship award 

Foundation House Sponsor

Sponsor contributes $19,500 for building materials and paid labor. Sponsor may make up to 10 worker available for 10 on-site team-building workdays. 

Habitat for Humanity provides:

• A Partner Family & Building lot for house

• Up to 10 team-building workdays on the construction site

• Construction site supervision

• Public relations and media opportunity

• Placement of the company logo and link to company website on HFH - Horry County's website for one year 

• Recognition in Habitat's newsletter

• A Habitat t-shirt for each volunteer working on the construction site

• An invitation to the house blessing and dedication ceremonies

• A framed picture of the house 

Adopt-A-Lot Sponsor

Sponsor contributes $11,200 for acquisition of land. Sponsor may make up to 10 workers available for 5 on-site team-building workdays.

Habitat for Humanity provides:

• A Partner Family & Building lot for house

• Up to 5 team-building workdays on the construction site

• Construction site supervision

• Public relations and media opportunity

• Placement of the company logo and link to company website on HFH - Horry County's website for one year 

• Recognition in Habitat's newsletter

• A Habitat t-shirt for each volunteer working on the construction site

• An invitation to the house blessing and dedication ceremonies

• A framed picture of the house 

Volunteer Groups (i.e. Church, School and Business Build Days)

Sponsor contributes $50 per day, per volunteer for an exciting day of team-building on a Habitat for Humanity of Horry County home site, on a Deconstruction project or within the Habitat ReStore. Donations are dedicated to building materials, supervision and other supplies.

Habitat for Humanity provides:

• Building materials, tools, training, supervision and safety equipment.
