Schedule a DeCon Crew


All DeCons are performed by a crew of fully insured and skilled volunteers led by a trained Habitat crew leader.

To schedule a DeCon, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Call or email Herdie Mathews, Director of Volunteers, to schedule a walk-thru and discuss items to be removed
Step 2: Confirm a date/time for the DeCon (we require a minimum of 2 weeks after walk-thru in order to recruit volunteers)
Step 3: Kick back and let the DeCon crew handle all the heavy lifting on the day of the DeCon
Step 4: Habitat will provide you with a donation receipt with the inventoried items for your tax purposes

Donations through our DeCon Service enables Habitat for Humanity or Horry County to build additional homes for families in our community.
