Apply For A Habitat Home

To apply for a Habitat house, you must first complete a Pre-Application.
Request one by calling the office or filling out an online request form below.
Simply include your name, your current address and your telephone number.

• You must be a Horry County Resident for at least one year prior to submitting an application
• You must have verifiable income - sufficient to make a minimum monthly mortgage payment of approximately $400
• You must have a need for decent, affordable housing (i.e. due to circumstances such as overcrowding or unsafe, unsuitable living conditions)
• You must be willing to partner (volunteer) with Habitat of Horry County - 200 hours of 'sweat equity' for each adult household member

Please note that Habitat's Homeownership Program is not a quick fix to an immediate housing problem.
It is a long-term solution to eliminating poverty housing in Horry County.
