August 29th marks the last day of employment for Gail Olive (right) as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Horry County. To Gail this is more than a job, “I’ve invested a lot of myself over the years. It has been the perfect job –combining my nonprofit experience and my Christian calling to serve others.”
Carla Schuessler (left) has been named by the board as the new Executive Director and will bring a fresh vision to Habitat’s housing mission,. Carla has a background in property management, has served on the Habitat Board and has a deep commitment to give back and serve the community in a meaningful way.
As Gail retires and as Carla assumes leadership of Habitat, we wish them well.
